K/S Combi Lift was established in 2000 as a joint venture between J. Poulsen Shipping A/S and Harren & Partner.

J. Poulsen Shipping A/S
Finn J. Poulsen founded J. Poulsen Shipping A/S in 1983 in Korsoer, but the company actually dates back to 1931, when Finn J. Poulsen’s grandfather, Captain Johannes Poulsen, settled ashore and founded the company Shipbroker J. Poulsen. Today, the fourth generation is already involved in the company as employees and co-owners.

Harren & Partner
Harren & Partner Schiffahrts GmbH was founded by Captain and Diplom-Kaufman Peter Harren. Today, the company operates a modern fleet of more than 40 heavy-lift and project vessels, containerships, tankers and bulkcarriers from its Bremen head office. The in-house expertise extends not only to the operation and technical management of the fleet, but also to the design and financing of the ongoing newbuildings programme.
