QHSEP Policy

On September 5th, 2007 K/S Combi Lift and Combi Lift (Germany) GmbH were the first companies worldwide, within their segment, to obtain following DNV certifications, for fully implementing all three Management System Standards
both ashore and onboard their vessels.

Combi Lift views these ISO certifications as a key to uphold and maintain good business practices. The company’s QHSEP policy calls for continuous improvement in its Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Pollution Prevention management activities and for the business to be conducted according to the following principals:

Combi Lift will:

• Comply with all applicable and current laws, regulations, legislations, customer requirements and any other requirements relating to its QHSEP aspects and impacts
• Adopt a proactive approach to continuously improve all areas of the company’s business and make best use of its management resources in all Quality, Health, Safety & Environment issues, with a commitment to continual improvement
• Demonstrate visible and active leadership that engages all employees and service providers and manage QHSE performance as a line responsibility with clear authorities and accountability
• Meet our customers’ needs and requirements whilst endeavouring to minimize adverse environmental aspects and prevention and pollution
• Communicate its Quality, Health, Safety & Environment objectives and targets and its performance against these objectives and targets throughout the company and to interested parties
• Ensure that all employees, associates, subcontractors, service providers understand that working safely is a condition of employment and that they are each responsible for their own safety and the safety of those around them
• Work closely with our customers and suppliers to establish the highest Quality, Health, Safety & Environment standards
• Minimize or eliminate waste wherever possible and ensure that unavoidable waste is disposed off or recycled in an environment friendly manner
• Adopt a “ahead of its time” view on future business decisions, adopting state of the art technologies, processes, materials, products and management practices which will improve Quality, Health, Safety & Environment management
• Maintain a secure work environment to protect our employees, ships and assets from risk of injury, property loss or damage resulting from hostile acts
• Make this policy available to the public
